Why are some of my chat sessions not showing up in the chat history?
LiveHelpNow live chat software is designed to identify unique visitors on your website. Unique visitors are tracked by their IP addresses. When a unique visitor chats with you multiple times in the same day, all of his/her chats are merged into one session in the chat history.
*If you prefer to report each chat session individually, regardless of IP address, then:
1. Switch to Admin Panel -> Chat System -> System setup -> System settings.
2. Chat session initialization: select “Same IP Address – New Chat Session” from the drop-down list.
We do not generally recommend changing this setting since doing so will clear the 'Call History' of chatting visitors & disable any custom feeds that you've added to the chat code.
