What will visitors see when my live chat is offline?

Answer

When you are unavailable for live chat, the live chat software has you covered. Your inquiring visitors will be prompted to leave you their questions & contact information for follow-up. LiveHelpNow offline windows keep the door open for customers 24/7.

To adjust the offline window settings:

  1. Click the “Switch to admin panel” button at the top of the operator panel
  2. Go to Chat System ->Customization-> Offline window
  3. Select the offline window that you would like to present to visitors from the drop down list

Leave a message- takes a short message from the visitor and forwards it to your email address – this option is not recommended for users with heavy email traffic.

Message will be sent via email to the contact email configured in Admin Panel->Account Setup->Account info

Submit a ticket- submits a new customer inquiry in the ticket system – monitor & manage the customer’s ticket from creation to resolution in the LiveHelpNow operator panel

Request callback- takes a short message and requests a callback number from the visitor - allow visitors to set a call deadline (using your own custom fields!)
