How do I remove the “Search Knowledge” link from my pre-chat requirements?

Answer

The “Search Knowledge”, “Submit an inquiry” and “Request callback” links shown in your pre-chat requirements offer your visitors the option to use less resource-intensive means to get answers to their questions via the Knowledge Base, Ticket System, and Callback System.

If you do not subscribe to these LiveHelpNow systems, any unused links will be hidden automatically.

During your free trial, you may decide to hide these links anyway. If so, here’s how:

  • Sign in and open the Operator panel.
  • Select [Switch to admin panel] at the top.
  • Go to Chat System > Customization > Chat window (select a window) and scroll down to the area that previews these links.
  • Clear the associated text fields and save your settings to hide these links.
