How to disable Knowledge Base article comments

How do I disable comments on Knowledge Base articles?

Please note: Only administrators & operators with Administer Knowledge Base permissions selected can manage article comments.

By default, comments are enabled for all knowledge base articles. You will always be able to manage article comments and review them individually before they are posted.

If you do not want feedback from visitors, you can disable article comments either globally (across all articles) or selectively per article.

  • Disable article comments globally by switching to Admin panel > Knowledge > Settings. In the Settings menu, scroll down to General Settings > Global Allow Comments and select Disabled. 

  • Leave Global Allow Comments Enabled in order to disable comments selectively per article. When you create an article or update an article look for the Allow Comments checkbox above the [Save] button and un-check it to disable comments for the article.
