I receive "Can't connect to LiveHelpNow service" error when i try to login in Alerter


Please first download and install the latest version of Alerter software:


If you are using Windows XP, please exit Alerter and try downloading and installing this patch from Microsoft:

In all other cases, the "Can't connect to LiveHelpNow service" error could only mean that your hardware or software firewall or proxy is blocking access to LiveHelpNow service. 

  • If your network or computer is behind a firewall please whitelist "*" to allow access to our services. You may also try the following steps:
  • If your network uses proxy access please click on "Configure proxy" link in Alerter settings to specify Proxy server access credentials.
