How do I update an existing Knowledge Base article?
Once you've created a Knowledge Base article, you can make changes to it anytime and apply those changes instantly.
Please note: Only administrators & operators with permission can edit Knowledge Base articles.
There are two ways to edit articles. Either method works well. In both cases, you'll have to open your Operator panel:
- Search for an article using the Knowledge lookup link above the grid, click the question/title to open the article preview, and click the edit article icon at the top right. [Save] your changes to apply them.
- You can sort all of your articles by ID, Rating, Views, Edited Date, etc by selecting the KNOWLEDGE tab in the Operator Panel.
- (Optional) Use the Filter link (top-left) to view unanswered, answered, private or published articles & search specific fields to narrow down the selectable articles below.
- Select an article from the grid to open the article preview & click the edit article icon at the top right. [Save] your changes to apply them.
