Assigning Administrators and choosing extra permissions for operators

What extra permissions can I give to an operator?

With LiveHelpNow you have full control over the content each operator is able to view and manage. The following ‘Extra Permissions’ are found in Admin panel -> System Setup -> Operators (select operator profile)

  • You can make any operator an Administrator with full access to your system settings.

  • Keep "Administrator" and all "Extra Permissions" unchecked to only allow this operator to access the Operator Panel.

  • Extra Permissions:
    • "View Reports" allows the operator to access the Analytics system and view all LiveHelpNow reports.
    • "Manage Tickets" allows the operator to reassign tickets to other operators or "steal" a ticket.
    • "Manage/Delete Tickets" allows the operator to "Manage Tickets" and delete tickets.
    • "Delete Callbacks" allows the operator to delete callbacks.
    • "Revise Knowledge Base" allows the operator to create articles and edit existing articles.
    • "Administer Knowledge Base" allows the operator to "Revise Knowledge Base" and delete articles.
    • "Log Agents Off" allows the operator to log other operators off.
    • "Manage Agents View Access" allows the operator to manage the view access of other operators.
    • "Reassign Active Chat" allows the operator to reassign active chats to other operators or "steal" a chat.
